Agricultural Machinery Engineer
Location: Dulverton
Salary: Up to £42,000 Per Annum
We’re currently seeking an experienced and qualified agricultural machinery engineer to join a busy and growing team based near Dulverton. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys a varied and rewarding role working on a broad range of agricultural equipment both in the workshop and out on site.
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose, service, and repair a variety of machinery in your role as an agricultural machinery engineer, both on-site and in the workshop
- Carry out pre-delivery inspections and setup of new and used equipment
- Complete all relevant documentation such as job cards, timesheets, and reports
- Maintain a clean, organised workspace and follow health & safety protocols
- Use diagnostic tools confidently and competently
- Assist with mentoring apprentices and contribute to ongoing training
- Operate IT systems for diagnostics and reporting
Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- Proven experience as an agricultural machinery engineer with strong mechanical knowledge
- Full UK driving licence
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Familiarity with John Deere equipment is a bonus, but not essential
