Vehicle Technician – Petworth
Holt Recruitment is currently looking for an experienced Vehicle Technician to join a growing department focusing on pick-ups and various commercial vehicles at a well-established Agricultural dealership in Petworth. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled individual to become part of a successful and expanding team.
Salary and benefits:
- £35,000 per annum DOE
- Overtime available (Monday – Saturday at time and a half)
- 24 days holiday per year plus bank holidays
- Pension scheme (3% employee / 7% employer contribution)

- Ongoing manufacturer and in-house training
Working hours:
- Monday to Friday (basic 39-hour working week) with a 30-minute lunch break
- Saturday morning availability
- Overtime available
Role and responsibilities:
- Carrying out servicing, repairs, and resolving complex mechanical and electrical faults
- Pre-delivery preparation and fitting accessories to new vehicles
- Diagnosing issues accurately, making improvements, and keeping detailed records
- Maintaining high efficiency levels without compromising quality
- Ensuring all work meets strict safety and professional standards
- Delivering excellent customer service and ensuring complete customer satisfaction
- Working to a high standard to maintain the company’s strong reputation
- Handling administration tasks and using IT systems effectively
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a vehicle technician (preferably in the automotive or commercial vehicle sector)
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work efficiently while maintaining high quality
- Excellent customer service skills and a professional approach
- Self-motivated with a strong work ethic
- A full UK driving licence
- Your own set of tools
